How to Play Klondike Solitaire

Objective

Move all 52 cards to four foundation piles, one per suit, in ascending order from Ace to King.

Setup

Seven tableau columns with 1-7 cards each (top card face-up). Remaining 24 cards form the stock pile.

Tableau Rules

Build columns in descending rank with alternating colors (e.g., black 6 on red 7). Move single cards or properly sequenced groups. Only Kings can fill empty columns.

Stock Pile

Draw cards from the stock to the waste pile. In Draw 1 mode, flip one card at a time. In Draw 3, flip three cards but only the top is playable.

Foundations

Move Aces to foundations as they become available. Build each foundation by suit: Ace, 2, 3 ... Queen, King.

Winning

You win when all 52 cards are on the four foundation piles.
